This article provides a comprehensive guide to managing event activities, including how to configure them and how participants can interact with them. By the end of this guide, you will have a clear understanding of the essentials features available for managing activities in your event.
1. At Event level, navigate to the Activity management module and create a new activity.
2. Give it a name, start and end date, and set its status to active
3. In the Activity settings tab (activity detailed view), disable activity generic settings
4. Enable the option "Registration required for this activity", specify a capacity if needed
5. In the Content module, select the form (webpage) of your choice and add the section "Activities cart"
6. Participants can now select the activity in the Activities cart section, on your event website's form. They will become registered for the activity when they submit the form.
7. You can review the list of participants registered for the activity in the Activity detailed view -> tab Activity participants. You can also download this list into a spreadsheet via the Actions menu (3 dots) -> Export participants
8. You can also manually register participants for activities - In the participants module, select the profile(s) you want to add to an activity, click the 3 dots and select "Add to activity".
9. To remove participants from an activity, open the activity -> Activity participants, click the 3 dots and select "Remove from activity". Participants can also unregister from activities using the Activities cart.
