This feature allows organizers to limit the number of activities a participant can register for within a specific group. By setting a maximum number of selectable activities, participants are guided to make prioritized choices, ensuring fair access to popular sessions or limited-capacity events.
Example Use Case
An event offers three specialized workshops—Photography, Editing, and Design—but participants are allowed to join only two. Organizers apply a “2 activities max” condition to these workshops. If a participant registers for Photography and Editing, they will no longer have the option to select Design, ensuring that slots remain available for other attendees.
Step-by-step configuration
1. In the module Activity management, open the submodule "Activity generic settings" and navigate to the tab "Conditions"
2. Create a new condition with the name of your choice, and specify how many of the sessions (that this condition was applied to) can be selected by the participant
3. Navigate to the list of activities (submodule "Activities") -> check the boxes of the relevant activities -> click the Actions menu (3 dots) -> Activity condition -> Apply the condition
4. Participants can now select only X sessions out of the applicable activities.
