Integrating Azavista Calendar on the Event Website
Overview
The Azavista Calendar Integration allows users to display a public event calendar directly on the event website. By adding the Public Calendar section, users can select an existing calendar integration, configure display options, control dependencies, and reposition or remove the calendar section as needed.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Add the Public Calendar to the Event Website
- Open the Event Website Builder for your event.
- Navigate to the page where the calendar should appear.
- Locate the Public Calendar section in the available components.
- Drag and drop the Public Calendar section onto the page layout.
2. Configure Public Calendar Settings
After adding the Public Calendar section, configure the following fields:
-
Edit Calendar ID
- Enter or edit the ID to uniquely identify the Public Calendar section.
-
Edit Calendar Title
- Enter or update the Title displayed above the calendar on the website.
-
Select Dependency
- Choose a value from the Dependency dropdown.
- This controls conditional visibility of the calendar based on other website elements or logic.
-
Select Section Version Type
- Select the appropriate Section Version Type from the dropdown.
- This determines how the calendar is rendered for different website versions or layouts.
-
Select Calendar Integration
- From the Calendar dropdown, select an existing Azavista Calendar integration.
- Only calendars that are already configured and active in Integrations appear in this list.
3. Reposition the Public Calendar
- Drag the Public Calendar section within the page layout to reposition it.
- The calendar updates its placement automatically based on the new layout position.
4. Remove the Public Calendar
- Select the Public Calendar section.
- Click the Remove option.
-
Confirm the removal.
- This removes the calendar from the website but does not delete the calendar integration.
Result
Once configured, the Public Calendar is displayed on the event website using the selected Azavista Calendar integration. Users can control how and where the calendar appears, update its settings at any time, and manage visibility through dependencies and layout positioning.
