Dependencies in the Web Builder allow you to control the visibility and behavior of form components based on predefined conditions. By configuring dependencies on form components, you can ensure that fields appear only when specific criteria are met, creating a dynamic and streamlined form experience. Step-by-Step Approach
1. Configure dependency on a form and form fields
- On the Event Dashboard, go to the Contents module.
- Select the Pages sub menu.
- Add a new page or edit an existing page.
- Drag and drop the Form web component onto the page.
- In the Component Settings panel, locate the Dependency field.
- Review the list of available dependencies displayed in the select field.
- From the Dependency select field, choose the appropriate dependency for the form.
- The selected dependency determines when the form component will be shown or hidden based on the configured conditions.
- Next, drag and drop a field onto the form.
- Select the added field.
- In the Component Settings, view and assign a dependency from the available dependency list for the selected field.
