The Language component allows participants to switch between the languages configured for an event. Validating the Language component ensures that all selected languages are displayed correctly on the event website and that content changes as expected when a language is selected. This article explains how participants can validate the Language component on the event website.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Event Website
- Open the event website using the link provided by the event organizer.
- Ensure the website loads successfully in your browser.
2. Locate the Language Component
- The Language component is typically displayed in the header or footer of the website.
3. Validate Available Languages
- Click the Language component to view the list of available languages.
- Verify that all languages selected for the event are displayed in the list.
4. Validate Language Switching
- Select a language from the list.
- Confirm that the website content updates to the selected language. Note: Currently, the multilingual feature is limited to merge tags and date/time fields.
