Event series allows planners to create a series of the same event (using an event template) if they know the event will be repeated at a certain frequency. This saves time, instead of creating or copying the events one by one.
At Global level, click on the Events module -> Event series. Here you will see the list of all your Event series. To add a new one, click on the Plus button on the right side of the screen. Here you can fill in the details of your new series of events.
Choose the event template you want to use to create your event series. Please keep in mind you can only create event series based on event templates. Click Save to create the event series.
Once you click on Save, you will be redirected to the detailed view of the event series.
You can edit the event series' details in the Details tab, such as the name.
Under the Calendar tab, clicking anywhere on the calendar will allow you to plan the timing of your events, plan the frequency and add an end date if you desire.
You can also add teams to your event series under the Teams tab.
