Dependencies in Azavista are part of the Website module and can be used to show specific sections in web pages to specific groups of visitors only.
The dependencies you create for your event can be used on all pages and forms, you can find them in the Website module -> Dependencies, or in the web page builder in the Dependencies tab (top right).
You can watch our videos on dependencies here
Here is an example of how dependencies can be used:
Event planners want to show a specific part of the website page only to CEOs from the Amsterdam area.
First we need to name the dependency, for example: "CEOs from Amsterdam".
The next step is adding filters. In this case, two conditions will be involved:
- The city
- The position
Our filter will then be:
- City is equal to Amsterdam
- Position is equal to CEO
To apply the newly created dependency to a section of your web page, in the website builder, click on this section and then click on the gear icon at the top right corner of the builder. You can now select the dependency from the dropdown menu, this section will then only be visible to CEOs from Amsterdam.
One additional example:
Dependencies can also be used in Forms. When you're creating a form and asking a question such as: Do you need accommodation? - You can create a dependency so that only the people who answered "Yes" will see an additional section with other questions (eg. "For how many nights", etc.)
