The workflow "stage-action" is used to send an email (action) when the stage of a participant is manually changed by the event planner.
For example, if you don't want your VIP participants to register on their own, the event planner can do it for them manually. This workflow can be used to automate sending an email to the VIP participants after that. In general, this workflow can be useful when the participant registers or cancels externally, e.g. by phone or physically.
- "Stage name": Name of the stage participants will be put in when the action is performed (e.g. Manually registered VIPs / Registered by phone)
- "Email campaign to be sent when stage is selected": Once the event planner manually changes the stage of the participant (e.g. to one related to registration, cancellation or arrival to the event), which email will be sent to them
- "Count as": When the stage of participants is manually changed to the one from this workflow, what will these participants count as (Registered / Arrived / Cancelled). This way, for example, VIP participants will both be set into a stage of their own (e.g. Manually registered VIPs) but will also count as normally registered participants for other purposes, especially reporting
