In Azavista, you can have unique reference numbers assigned to your events automatically each time you create one. The reference number is a useful way of identifying your events later on. This is a process that needs to be set up once, and will work for all events created after it's been set up.
In order to set this up, you first need to have a global event field to store the reference number. Simply navigate to the Global Fields Manager module and create an event field with the type of Text called "Event reference number" or a similar name that's easy for you to identify later. For more information on how to create custom text fields, see this article.
Once you have your field, navigate to the Integrations module and the Global Processes sub-module. With the Event Processes tab selected, click the Add button. Provide a recognizable name in the following popup and click Save.
Now click on the newly created process in the processes list to configure it. Turn on the edit mode and click the green add button to add an action block. Select the "Set reference number" action and click Add.
Now expand the action block and select the reference number field you created earlier from the Field dropdown menu. Click Save Changes and return to the processes list by clicking the Back to list button.
To finalize the configuration, click the action button for your process and choose the "Object changed trigger" option from the context menu. Select the Create trigger for this process to have it run automatically when you create a new event. Click Create to save your configuration.
From this point on, all of your newly created events will have a reference number field with a uniquely generated reference number.
