Introduction
This event preset allows for a maximum number of participants to register for the event.
Participants registering subsequently will be placed on the waiting list.
When a spot is available (e.g. through the cancellation of a registered participant, or when more spots are made available), participants on the waiting list will receive an email notifying them that they may now register.
How does it work?
- The event website is open to the public and the registration form is linked to a Waiting list (public) registration workflow, meaning anyone can access the website and submit the registration form.

- The Waiting list workflow can be tweaked to change the participant capacity of the event, and the waiting list settings (which email to send to inform the participants that they have been placed on the waiting list, to inform them that a spot is available, etc.)

- If there are remaining participant spots, participants submit their registration forms and automatically become registered. They also receive a confirmation email with the details of their registration.
