Adding and Configuring Footer on a Web Page
Overview
The Web Builder allows organizers to configure and manage footers that appear on event webpages. Footers can be added as global or local elements, customized with titles and configuration options, controlled through dependencies, and repositioned within the page layout. This article explains how to configure and manage footers for a webpage using the Web Builder.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Web Builder
- On the Event Dashboard, go to the Contents module.
- Select the Pages submenu.
- Open the required webpage in edit mode.
2. Add a Global Footer
- From the components panel, drag and drop the Global Footer onto the webpage.
- Enter or edit the ID.
- Enter or edit the Title.
3. Add a Local Footer
- From the components panel, drag and drop the Local Footer onto the webpage.
- Enter or edit the ID.
- Enter or edit the Title.
- Select a Dependency from the Dependency dropdown, if applicable.
- Select a Section Version Type from the Section Version Type dropdown.
4. Manage Footer Placement
- Reposition the global or local footer using drag-and-drop within the page layout.
- Ensure the footer placement aligns with the page design.
5. Save and Apply Changes
- Publish the webpage to apply the configured footer settings.
- Preview the webpage to validate footer placement and behavior.
