Adding and Configuring Event Page Link Button on a Webpage
Overview
The Event Page Link Button allows organizers to add a navigational button on the event website that directs users to another event page. Using the Web Builder, you can add, configure, style, reposition, or remove the Event Page Link Button, as well as control its visibility using dependencies and section version types. This article explains how to add and configure an Event Page Link Button on the event website.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Web Builder
- From the Event Dashboard, navigate to the Content module.
- Select the Pages submenu.
- Open the required webpage in edit mode.
2. Drag and Drop the Event Page Link Button
- From the Components panel, locate the Event Page Link Button.
- Drag and drop the button onto the desired section of the web page.
3. Enter or Edit Hexa Code for Color
- Select the Event Page Link Button to open its Settings panel.
- Enter or edit the hexadecimal (hex) color code to define the background or text color of the button.
4. Enter or Edit ID
- In the Event Page Link Button Settings, locate the ID field.
- Enter a new ID or edit the existing value as required.
5. Select Dependency from the Dependency Select Field
- In the button Settings panel, locate the Dependency select field.
- Select an existing dependency from the list.
- The button displays or hides based on the configured dependency conditions.
6. Select Section Version Type from the Section Version Type Select Field
- In the button Settings, locate the Section Version Type select field.
- Choose the appropriate section version type.
- The button follows the visibility rules defined for the selected version type.
7. Enter or Edit Title
- Locate the Title field in the button Settings panel.
- It serves as the primary identifier for a web page for both search engines and users.
8. Select Page from the Page Select Field
- In the button Settings, locate the Page select field.
- Choose the target event page from the list.
- The button redirects users to the selected page.
9. Rename the Button Using Styling and Formatting Options
- Use the available styling and formatting options in the Web Builder.
- Rename the Event Page Link Button and adjust its appearance as needed.
10. Manage the Event Page Link Button
- Reposition the Event Page Link Button using drag-and-drop within the page layout.
- Remove the Event Page Link Button if it is no longer required.
11. Save and Apply Changes
- Save and publish the webpage to apply the configured Event Page Link Button settings.
