Adding and Configuring Form Button on a Webpage
Overview
The Form Button allows users to add a clickable button on a web page that enables participants to access or submit a form. Using the Web Builder, you can add and configure the Form Button by defining its title, identifier, visibility rules, section version type, styling, and placement within the page layout. 1. Access the Web Builder
- From the Event dashboard, navigate to the Content module.
- Select the Pages submenu.
- Open the required web page in edit mode.
2. Drag and Drop the Form Button
- From the Components panel, locate the Form Button component.
- Drag and drop the Form Button onto the desired section of the web page.
- The Form Button is added and becomes visible in the page layout.
3. Enter or Edit ID
- In the Form Button Settings, locate the ID field.
- Enter a new ID or edit the existing value as required.
4. Enter or Edit Title
- In the Form Button Settings panel, locate the Title field.
- Enter or edit the title.
- The title serves as the primary identifier for a web page for both search engines and users.
5. Select Dependency from the Dependency Select Field
- In the Settings panel, locate the Dependency select field.
- Choose an existing dependency from the list.
- The Form Button displays or hides based on the configured dependency conditions.
6. Select Section Version Type from the Section Version Type Select Field
- In the Form Button Settings, locate the Section Version Type select field.
- Select the appropriate section version type.
- The Form Button follows the visibility rules defined for the selected version type.
7. Rename the Button Using Styling and Formatting Options
- Use the available styling and formatting options in the Web Builder.
- Rename the Form Button and adjust its appearance to match the page design.
8. Manage the Form Button
- Reposition the Form Button using drag-and-drop within the page layout.
- Remove the Form Button if it is no longer required.
9. Save and Apply Changes
- Save and publish the web page to apply the Form Button configuration.
- Preview the page to confirm that the Form Button displays and functions as expected.
