The content builder provides three types of buttons: External Link, Event Page, and Form. Each serves a different purpose, allowing you to create seamless navigation and interaction within your content.
Additionally, you can update the text inside the buttons by double-clicking the text, and they can be aligned to the left, center, or right within the section's parameters.
External Link – Allows you to add any URL, directing users to an external webpage.
Event Page – Redirects participants to one of the event’s pages. When a participant clicks this button, the system recognizes them and keeps their session active, ensuring that participant-specific data is carried over (e.g. when navigating from the homepage to the registration form). This is not true for external links, making the Event page button most appropriate when navigating the event's website.
Form Button (web only) – Used within forms, letting participants submit their responses.
For more details on the creation and submissions of forms, consult our dedicated article: Content builder - Creating and submitting a form
Event app (emails only) – Opens the selected event app for the participant.
