Accessing and Managing Event Processes
Overview
The Event Processes area within Workflows allows you to create, configure, and manage automated workflows that are triggered by event-related actions. As a user, you can add and edit workflows, build logic using different process blocks, control processing behaviour, and manage execution and triggers.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Event Processes in list view
- Navigate to Workflows in the main menu.
- Select Event Processes.
- The Event Processes list view opens.
2. Add a new Process
- In the list view, click Add Process.
- Enter or edit the Process Name.
- Save your changes.
- Click the newly created or any existing process to open the configuration screen.
3. Select or Unselect Edit Mode
- Inside the process, toggle Edit Mode on to enable editing.
- Toggle Edit Mode off to prevent changes.
4. Add an Action Block (Green + icon)
- Click the green + icon.
- Select Entity.
- Select Action Type.
- Select the trigger value for the action type.
- To remove the block, select Remove Action Block.
5. Add a Query Block (Blue + icon)
- Click the blue + icon.
- Select Entity.
- Select Query Type.
- Select the trigger value for the query type.
- To remove the block, select Remove Query Block.
6. Add a Wait Block (Orange + icon)
- Click the orange + icon.
- Select Entity.
- Select the key value pair for the selected field.
- To remove the block, select Remove Wait Block.
7. Add a Process-Flow Step (Purple + icon)
- Click the purple + icon.
- Select Entity.
- Select the value for the selected entity.
8. Start and Stop the Process
- Click Start Process to activate it.
- Click Stop Process to pause execution.
9. Execute Action: Interrupt
- Select Interrupt to manually stop an active process instance.
Single Row List View Actions
- Edit Process – open the workflow for editing.
- Change Name – rename the process.
- Status Change Trigger – trigger the process when the event status changes.
- Select Trigger Statuses from the list.
- Object Changed Trigger – trigger the process when a related object changes.
- Select Trigger from the Trigger list.
Multi-Row List View Actions
- Delete – remove one or more selected processes from the list.
Result
You can now access and manage Event Processes, build workflows using configurable blocks, set trigger behaviour, and control how event-based automation runs in your system.
