Accessing and Managing Room Booking Processes
Overview
Room Booking Processes allow you to automate actions and workflows related to room bookings. From the Processes area, you can create, edit, and manage process flows that run based on selected triggers, queries, or wait conditions. This article explains how to access Room Booking Processes and manage the different workflow blocks within a process.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Room Booking Processes list
- Go to the Workflow menu.
- Select Processes.
- Click Room Booking Processes tab.
- View the Room Booking Processes listed in the grid.
2. Add and name a new Room Booking Process
- Click Add Process.
- Enter a Process Name or edit the process name later if required.
- Save the process.
3. Open and enable Edit mode
- Click the newly created or an existing process to open it.
- Toggle Edit mode on or off to enable or restrict editing.
4. Add an Action Block (green + icon)
- Click the green + icon.
- Select the Entity.
- Select an Action Type.
- Select the trigger value for the chosen Action Type.
- To remove the Action Block, select Remove.
5. Add a Query Block (blue + icon)
- Click the blue + icon.
- Select the Entity.
- Select a Query Type.
- Select the trigger value for the Query Type.
- To remove the Query Block, select Remove.
6. Add a Wait Block (orange + icon)
- Click the orange + icon.
- Select the Entity.
- Select the key value pair for the selected field.
- To remove the Wait Block, select Remove.
7. Add a Process-Flow Step (purple + icon)
- Click the purple + icon.
- Select the Entity.
- Select the value for the selected Entity.
Execute Additional Actions
Interrupt Execution
- Select Execute Action: Interrupt to stop an active process instance.
Single-Row List View Actions
From the Room Booking Processes list view, you can perform these per-process actions:
- Edit Process – open the configuration screen to modify the workflow.
- Change Name – rename the process.

Status Change Trigger – trigger the process when
the
room booking status changes.
- Select the Trigger from the list.
Multi-Row List View Actions
- Delete – remove one or more selected processes from the list.
Result
You can now successfully access, configure, and manage Room Booking Processes within the Workflows module, including building process logic, controlling execution, and managing triggers.
