This article provides a comprehensive guide to getting started with tickets and products using the Tickets & Products module, covering how to create, customize, and manage sales of tickets and event-related products.
By the end of this guide, you will have a clear understanding of the essential features available for configuring ticket and product offerings, and setting up payment to create a seamless experience for participants.
1. At Global level, first navigate to the Integrations module and add Azavista's invoice integration (Type: payment, subtype: invoice), you can name it "Invoice integration", for example. Save it and activate it.
2. Still at Global level, navigate to the Tickets and products module. Before creating any product, we will first need to create Cancellation terms & Taxes. For the sake of this step-by-step guides, we will be creating empty Cancellation terms & Taxes. These only need to be created once.
3. In the Taxes submodule, create a new tax (0%).
4. In the Cancellation terms submodule, create new cancellation terms and save the empty terms.
5. Open an Event to enter Event level, and navigate to the Tickets and products module -> Payment settings submodule. Add the Azavista invoice integration and click on Save.
6. The form that will contain the product cart web section must be connected to a "Payment registration" workflow. Navigate to the workflows module to update this part as needed.
7. Navigate to the Products submodule and add a new product: Specify its name, price, cancellation terms, and tax. Save the product.
8. Navigate to the Content module to open one of your forms, and add the section "Shopping cart". All of your products will be retrieved by the cart when opening the actual form on your website.
9. Test your product by selecting the product in the cart and submitting the registration form.
10. You will find the order in the Ticket and products module (at both Global and Event levels), and in the detailed view of a participant (Orders tab).
