Accessing and Managing the Social Share Module As a Participant
Overview
As a participant, the Social Share Module enables you to easily share event-related content directly to your connected social media platforms. Through this module, you can select your preferred platform, compose your post, and validate successful publication, ensuring a smooth and engaging sharing experience within the event app.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. View the Social Share Option in the Event App Menu
- Open the Event App on your device.
- From the main navigation menu, locate the Social Share option.
- The module appears with the name and icon defined by the event organiser.
- Tap to open the module.
2. Access the Social Share Screen
- After selecting Social Share, the dedicated screen opens displaying sharing options.
- View available social media platforms (for example, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, WhatsApp).
- The list of platforms and shareable content is pre-configured by the event organiser.
3. Share a Post via a Selected Social Platform
- Select the desired Social Media Platform from the list.

A pre-filled sharing template appears containing event details such as:
- Event or session URL
- Title and Summary
- Optional Hashtags or Media content
- Review and, if needed, personalise your message.
- Click Share or Post to publish the content to your chosen platform.
4. Validate the Publishing of the Post
- Once sharing is complete, the app displays a confirmation message.
- Open the respective social media platform to verify that your post has been successfully published.
