Accessing and Managing Participant Module As a Participant
Overview
The Participant module in the event app allows participants to view and connect with other attendees, explore participant profiles, and communicate through direct chat. Depending on the event configuration, participants can search, filter, and manage their visibility in the participant list, as well as control how registered activities are displayed.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Participants module
- Open the Event App on your device.
- From the app’s main menu, locate and select the Participants menu.
- The Participants screen opens and displays the list of participants.
2. Search for participants
- On the Participants screen, use the search option.
- Enter a participant’s name.
- The list updates to show matching participants.
3. Use participant filter category tabs
- View the filter category tabs displayed in the Participants area of the event app menu.
- These tabs represent user categories configured by the organizer.
- Select a category tab to filter the participant list.
4. View participant details
- Select a participant from the list.
- The Participant detail view opens and displays profile information.
5. Start a direct chat conversation
- From the Participant detail view, select the Chat option.
- A direct chat conversation opens with the selected participant.
6. View registered activities based on event settings
- When the Show only registered sessions to participants checkbox is enabled, you see only the activities you are registered for.
- When the Show only registered sessions to participants checkbox is disabled, you see all the activities you are registered for.
