Configuring QR Code module for the Event App

Overview

The QR Code Module allows event managers to configure a QR Code feature in the Event App. This module can be activated or deactivated, renamed, customized with an icon, and positioned within the app menu to ensure easy participant access and engagement.

Step-by-Step Approach

1. Activate or Deactivate the QR Code Module

• Open the Event App on your device or browser.
• Locate the QR Code Module in the modules list.
• Use the toggle switch to turn the module ON or OFF:
  • ON: The module becomes visible in the Event App menu.
  • OFF: The module will not appear for participants.

2. Edit the Module Name and Icon

• Click the Edit icon next to the QR Code Module.
• Modify the Module Name to match your preferred naming or event theme (e.g., "Scan QR", "Lead Retrieval").
• Choose or upload an appropriate Module Icon to represent the QR Code feature.
• Click Save to confirm changes.

3. Drag and Drop Module Placement

• Drag the QR Code Module to position it within the Event App menu.
• You can place the module in either:
  • Top Menu
  • Bottom Menu
• Release the module to set its new location.

• Ensure the QR Code module is placed in a prominent menu location for easy participant access and engagement.
