Configuring Event Workflow – Event Cancelation
Overview
The Event Cancelation Workflow allows event organizers to automate and manage actions that occur when an entire event is canceled. By configuring this workflow, users can define key stages, trigger cancelation emails, and add sequences to ensure all participants and stakeholders are notified efficiently.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Drag and Drop Event Cancelation Workflow on the Main Editor
- Access the Workflow Editor from your event configuration dashboard.
- Drag and drop the Event Cancelation Workflow block onto the main editor canvas.
- Once placed, the workflow edit view displays the following fields:
- Event Cancelation Stage Name
- Event Cancelation Email
- Event Canceled Sequence
2. Edit Workflow Details
- Click on Edit Details within the Event Cancelation Workflow block.
- You can also choose to Lock or Delete the workflow as needed.
3. Enter or Edit Workflow Information
- Provide or update details such as:
- Workflow Name
- Description
- Event Cancelation Stage Name
4. Set Cancelation Email
- From the edit view, select the appropriate Event Cancelation Email to be sent to participants and stakeholders when the event is canceled.
5. Add Event Canceled Sequence
- Additionally, configure the Event Canceled Sequence to automate post-cancelation actions such as sending notifications or updating event status.
