Configuring Event Cancelation Workflow
Overview
The Event Cancelation Workflow allows you to automate the actions that occur when an event is canceled. As a user, you can add the workflow to the Main Editor, customize the workflow name and description, define the cancelation stage name, assign a cancelation email template, and manage workflow settings using the Edit details, Lock, and Delete options.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Drag and Drop the Event Cancelation Workflow onto the Main Editor
- Navigate to the workflow configuration area.
- Locate the Event Cancelation Workflow block.
- Drag and drop the block onto the Main Editor canvas.
- The workflow block is now placed and ready for configuration.
2. Enter or Edit the Workflow Name and Description
- Click on the Event Cancelation Workflow block to open its configuration panel.
- Enter a Workflow Name to clearly identify the purpose of the cancelation workflow.
- Add a Description to provide additional context or instructions.
- Save your changes.
3. Enter or Edit the Event Cancelation Stage Name
- In the configuration panel, locate the Event Cancelation Stage Name field.
- Enter a clear and meaningful stage name that reflects when the workflow should be executed.
- Update or modify the stage name at any time as needed.
- Save your changes.
4. Select the Event Cancelation Email
- Go to the Event Cancelation Email drop-down field.
- Select the email template that will be sent when the event is canceled.
- Ensure the selected email template is configured with the correct messaging before assigning it.
5. Manage Workflow Actions — Edit Details, Lock, or Delete
You can manage the Event Cancelation Workflow block using the following options:

Edit details
Opens the workflow configuration so you can update fields such as the name, description, stage name, and cancelation email. -
Lock
Prevents further edits to the workflow to maintain process consistency. -
Delete
Removes the Event Cancelation Workflow block from the Main Editor.
6. Build a Custom Process Sequence for Event Cancelled Sequence
- Send a follow-up notification or reminder.
- Tag or update participant profile fields.
- Trigger conditional steps based on response.
- Add participants to a segment or group.
- Start another automated workflow.
- Click the + Event Cancelled Sequence button on the Event Cancelation block.
- Select the action type you want to include.
- Configure the action details (rules, message content, timing, etc.).
- Repeat this step to chain multiple actions and create a process sequence.
- If required, add conditions so actions trigger only when criteria are met. (e.g., Event-based, Participant-based, Workflow-based etc.).
