Managing Event Participants within an Activity
Overview
Managing event participants allows organizers to efficiently assign attendees to activities, communicate with selected participants, and manage participant roles. From the participant listing, both single-row and multi-row actions can be used to update activity participation and participant details.
This article explains how to access the event participant list and perform common participant management actions related to activities.Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the All Participants Listing for an Activity
- On the Event dashboard, go to the Activity module.
- Click the Activities submenu.
- Select any activity.
- Open the All Participants tab.
2. Execute Multi-Row Action: Add to Activity
- Select one or more participants, go to More Options (⋮) menu, and select Add to activity to register the selected participants for the activity.
3. Execute Multi-Row Action: Send Email
- Select multiple participants, go to More Options (⋮) menu, and select Send Email to send a communication to all selected participants.
4. Execute Multi-Row Action: Add as Speaker
- Select one or more participants, go to More Options (⋮) menu, and select Add as speaker to assign the selected participants as speakers for the activity.
5. Execute Multi-Row Action: Add as Moderator
- Select one or more participants, go to More Options (⋮) menu, and select Add as moderator to assign the selected participants as moderators for the activity.
6. Single-Row Action: Navigate to Participant Detail View
- Click an individual participant record to open the participant detail view and review or update their information.
7. Execute Multi-Row Action: Bulk Field Update
- Select multiple participants, go to More Options (⋮) menu, and select Bulk Field Update to update one or more participant fields simultaneously.
