Validating the Jumbotron ensures that the content is displayed correctly and that the button functions as expected for both participants and moderators.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Open the Event App
- Access the Event App as a Participant or Moderator.
- Navigate to the page where the Jumbotron component is configured.
2. Validate the Jumbotron Component
- Ensure the Jumbotron section is visible on the page.
- Verify that the heading and text are displayed correctly.
- Check alignment, font styling, and overall layout.
- Locate the “Learn More” button within the Jumbotron.
- Verify that the button text is displayed correctly.
- Click the button to ensure:
- It redirects to the correct URL.
- The link opens in the configured target (same tab or new tab).
3. Cross-Check Content Accuracy
- Confirm that the content matches what was configured in the Web Builder.
- Ensure there are no broken links or missing elements.
4. Test Across Roles
- Repeat the validation steps as both:
- Participant
- Moderator
- Ensure consistent behaviour and visibility for both roles.
