Accessing and Validating Polls module for Session(s) as a Participant

Overview

The Polls submodule within a session in the Event App enables participants to actively engage in live interactions during an event. Through this feature, participants can view available polls, submit their responses, and instantly see how many others have participated.

Designed for simplicity and real-time interaction, the Polls module ensures that participants can easily contribute their opinions while gaining visibility into overall engagement levels. Whether it’s a quick feedback question or a structured poll, this feature enhances the session experience by making it more interactive and participatory.

Step-by-Step Approach

1. Access the Polls Submodule within a Session

• Open the Event App on your device.
• Go to Sessions and locate the Polls submodule.

This section acts as the entry point for all polling activities within the selected session.

2. View the List of Available Polls

• You will see a list of all polls associated with the session.
• Active polls that are currently open for participation will be clearly visible.
• This list allows you to quickly identify which polls are available to respond to.

3. Select an Answer

• Carefully review the listed options.
• Select your preferred response:
  • Options may be displayed in different formats depending on the poll type (e.g., multiple choice, ranking, or rating).
• The option type values are clearly presented, ensuring you understand how to respond.

4. Submit Your Response

• After selecting your answer, click on the Add Answer button.
• Your response will be recorded immediately.

This ensures your input is captured in real time during the session.

5. Edit the Submitted Response

• Modify the submitted poll response.
• Update the selected option(s).
• Re-submit the updated response to ensure your latest response is recorded.

6. Interact with Multi-Response Polls

Select Multiple Options

When a poll allows multiple responses, you can select more than one option. This is useful when your opinion or answer spans across multiple choices. Simply click on all options that apply to you.

Sort the Selected Options
