Accessing and Validating QA module for Session(s) as a Moderator
Overview
The Q&A module enables moderators to manage participant interactions during sessions effectively. Moderators can review submitted questions, approve or reject them, edit content, delete questions, respond to participants, and mark questions as addressed. This ensures that only relevant and high-quality questions are visible and handled during the session.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Q&A Submodule for a Session
- Open the Event App on your device.
- Go to Sessions and locate the Q&A submodule.
2. Access the Moderation Questions List
- Within the Q&A module, go to the Moderation tab.
- View all questions that are pending approval.
3. Access the All Questions List
- Navigate to the All Questions tab.
- View all questions, including approved, pending, and rejected ones.
4. Add and Submit a Question
- Locate the question input field in the Q&A module.
- Enter your question.
- Click on the Submit button.
- The question will be added based on system configuration (auto-approved or sent for moderation).
5. Enter a Question in the Textbox
- Click inside the question textbox.
- Type your question clearly and concisely.
- Ensure the content is relevant before submitting.
6. Approve a Question from Moderation List
- Go to the Moderation tab.
- Select a question.
- Click on Approve to make it visible to participants.
7. Reject a Question from Moderation List
- In the Moderation tab, select a question.
- Click on Reject to remove it from the queue.
8. Edit and Approve a Question
- Select a question from the Moderation list.
- Click on Edit.
- Modify the question as needed.
- Click Approve to publish the updated question.
9. Delete a Question
- Navigate to either the Moderation or All Questions list.
- Select the question you want to remove.
- Click on Delete.
- Confirm the action if prompted.
10. Reply to an Approved Question
- Go to the All Questions or approved list.
- Click on the question.
- Click on the Reply button.
- Enter your response in the reply field.
- Submit the reply to make it visible to participants.
11. Mark a Question as Replied Verbally
- Go to the All Questions or approved list.
- Click on the question.
- Click on the Mark as Replied Verbally option.
- This indicates the question has been addressed during the session without a written response.
12. Like an Approved Question
- From the approved questions list, select a question.
- Click on the Like icon.
- The like count will increase.
13. Dislike an Approved Question
- From the approved questions list, select a question.
- Click on the Dislike icon.
- The dislike count will update accordingly.
