Step-by-step setup
Step 1: Add the target languages to your event
Navigate to the module Event dashboard (at event level) -> Settings -> Languages. Search for the language(s) of your choice, click to select it, and click on the + button to add it.
Make sure to save your changes.
Step 2: Updating the date/time formats and timezone
Still in the Settings tab of the Event dashboard module, click the Localisation menu to edit the timezone and preferred date-time format for your event. Date, time, and date-time fields will be formatted using the selected option.
Step 3: Translating field
You can translate fields and their values in the Fields manager, see this comprehensive article for more information.
Step 4: Translating web pages, event app pages & emails
In the content builder, for both web pages and emails, you can translate all of your text into the added target languages. You can switch between language versions using the language selection tab, you can then start editing the text into each language.
Make sure to click the publish button to update the public version of the page when you are done.
Step 5: Predefining the display language for your participants
When sending emails to your participants, you can pre-define in what language will the email be displayed in. When clicking a button redirecting to the event website, the website will also automatically be set to the defined language.
