Managing Event Series
Overview
The Event Series feature allows users to organize and group related events under a unified series structure. Users can search for existing series, apply custom filters, and create new event series by defining key details such as name, category, sub-category, team, and event templates. Additionally, users can view series details and manage series records through single and bulk delete actions.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Search for an Already Existing Series
- Navigate to the Event Series section from the main menu.
- Use the search bar to search for an already existing series by entering the relevant keyword.
- The matching series will be displayed in the list.
2. Create New Filters
- Open the filter panel in the Event Series section.
- Select the desired filter criteria and configure the filter values.
- Apply the filter to narrow down the series list based on the defined conditions.
3. Create a New Event Series
- Navigate to the Event Series section and select the option to create a new event series.
- Fill in the following details to configure the series:
- Enter a meaningful Name to identify the event series.
- Select the appropriate Category for the series.
- Select the relevant Sub-Category under the chosen category.
- Assign a Team responsible for managing the series.
- Choose the desired Event Templates to associate with the series.
- Save the details to create the new event series.
4. View Details of a Series
- Locate the series record in the Event Series list.
- Click on the series or select the View Details option to open the full details of the selected series.
5. Delete a Series for a Single Row
- Locate the series record you wish to delete in the Event Series list.
- Select the Delete option for that row.
- Confirm the action to permanently remove the selected series.
6. Delete a Series for Multiple Rows
- Select multiple series records from the Event Series list.
- Choose the Delete option from the available actions.
- Confirm the action to permanently remove all selected series.
