Setting Up Email Notification Triggers for a Participant
Overview
This article explains how you can manage and trigger email notifications for participants directly through the Emails tab. From this view, you can review all email activity sent to both primary and secondary email addresses, trigger instant emails, or schedule notifications to be delivered at a later time.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Emails Tab View
- Open the participant’s profile from the Event module.
- Navigate to the Emails tab.
- The Emails tab displays available email actions and history for both primary and secondary email addresses.
2. See the List of Emails Triggered for the Participant’s Email
- This lists all emails triggered with the following details such as subject, status, email provider, message ID, sent date-time, and delivery statuses.
4. Trigger an Instant Email on the Participant’s Primary Email
- On the Emails tab, click on the + Email button.
- Choose the desired email template or notification type.
- Select Send Email Now.
- Click on the Proceed button.
5. Trigger an Instant Email on the Participant’s Secondary or Alternate Email
- On the Emails tab, click on the + Email button.
- Choose the desired email template or notification type.
- Select Send email to another email field and choose the email field from the drop-down list.
- Select Send Email Now.
- Click on the Proceed button.
6. Trigger a Scheduled Email on the Participant’s Primary Email
- On the Emails tab, click on the + Email button.
- Choose the desired email template or notification type.
- Select Schedule Email.
- Select the send date and time.
- Click on the Proceed button.
7. Trigger a Scheduled Email on the Participant’s Secondary or Alternate Email
- On the Emails tab, click on the + Email button.
- Choose the desired email template or notification type.
- Select Send email to another email field and choose the email field from the drop-down list.
- Select Schedule Email.
- Select the send date and time.
- Click on the Proceed button.
