Managing Participant Actions via Hamburger Menu
Overview
The Participants module provides a comprehensive set of actions accessible via the hamburger menu for each participant. Users can perform single-row or multi-row actions, update participant details, trigger communications, assign activities, export data, manage documents, and archive participants, all from a centralized interface.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Hamburger Menu
- Navigate to the Participants module.
- Click the hamburger menu (⋮) next to a participant record.
- This opens a list of available actions for that participant.
- Multi-row actions are available when multiple participants are selected.
2. View Participant Details
- Select View Details to access the full participant profile.
- From this view, you can review and edit participant information.
3. Communication Actions

Email:
- Through the hamburger menu, click the Email option.
- A pop-up opens where you can select the email you want to send. (You can send the email using a specific email field as well.)
- Trigger an instant or scheduled email to the participant inbox.

Message:
- Through the hamburger menu, click the Message option.
- Select the integration you want to use to send the message.
- Add the required information such as Subject, Message, and Notifications according to the selected integration.
- Push Message: From the Event App module, select Notification from the dropdown to send a push notification.
4. Update Participant Stage
- Select Stage from the menu.
- Choose a new stage from the dropdown.

Save to update the participant’s stage.
- (This can also be applied using multi-row actions.)
5. Update Participant Fields
- Click Update Field to modify participant information.

Available options in the Update Field Value pop-up:
- Select Field: Choose a new value from the dropdown.
- Text Field: Enter or edit a text value.
- Date/Time Field: Pick a date or time using the calendar picker.
6. Export Participants
- Click Export to download selected participant records.
- Exported files are saved locally in the supported format.
7. Assign Activities or Events
- Assign Activity: Assign participants to an activity.
- Assign to Event: Add participants to a different event.
8. Archive Participants
- Select Archive to archive participants.
- Archived participants are removed from the active list but remain accessible in archived records.
Note: This does not delete or remove the participant permanently. They are moved to the Archived participants section, which is available under Events at the General level.
9. Manage Documents and Attachments
- Download attachments for any Document or Image field from the hamburger menu.
- Attachments can also be managed from the participant detail view.
10. Edit Participant Details
- Open View Details from the hamburger menu to edit participant information.

Enable edit mode to update the following field types:
- Text Fields: Enter or modify text values.
- Select & Multi-Select Fields: Choose values from dropdown menus.
- Date & Time Fields: Update using the calendar picker.
- Click Save Changes to apply updates.
