Managing Participant Stage and App Previews
Overview
The Stage tab allows event administrators to manage a participant’s current stage, impersonate the participant to preview their app experience, and access QR codes used for badge scanning and app access. This view provides quick controls to validate participant journeys across multiple applications.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Stage Tab View
- Open the participant’s detail view from the Participants module.
- Navigate to the Stage tab.
- The participant’s current stage (for example, Invited) is displayed on the screen.
2. View and Change the Participant Stage
- Review the current stage assigned to the participant.
- Click the Stage select field available on the screen.
- Select a different stage from the dropdown list.
- The participant’s stage is updated immediately.
3. Impersonate the Participant
- Click the Impersonate Participant button to view the participant app experience.
- Alternatively, scan or click the available QR Code to impersonate the participant.
- This allows administrators to see the app exactly as the participant would.
4. Preview Participant on Different Apps
- Use the available buttons or QR codes to preview the participant across supported applications:
- Engagement App
- Lead Scan App
- Event App – Standalone
- Global App
- Previews can also be accessed on different devices such as mobile phones, tablets, or kiosks using QR codes.
5. Access QR Codes for Badge Scanning
- Access the participant’s QR Code directly from the Stage tab.
- Use the QR Code on Badge for on-site badge scanning and participant identification.
- These QR codes can be used across scanning points and supported applications.
