Configuring Azavista Calender Integration
Overview
Azavista Calendar Integration allows administrators to create and manage a dynamic event calendar that can be embedded externally or shared publicly. Admins can configure event filters, map event fields, apply themes, manage team visibility, and control calendar access through public URLs and widget scripts.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Create a New Azavista Calendar Integration
- On the General Dashboard, go to Integrations.
- Click + Integration.
- Select Type as Calendar and Sub Type as Azavista.

Enter a Name for the integration.
- This name defines the integration tab name displayed in the interface.
- Click Save to create the calendar integration.
2. Activate or Deactivate the Calendar Integration
- After saving the integration, locate the Active toggle.
- Enable the toggle to activate the calendar.

Disable the toggle to deactivate the calendar when
needed.
- Deactivated calendars are not accessible via public or embedded URLs.
3. Configure Applicable Events

Edit Filters
- Click the Pen (Edit) icon next to Event Filters.
- The Manage Filter popup opens.

Add Filter Details
- Enter a Filter Name to identify the filter.
- Add one or more filter conditions based on event attributes.
- Save the filter configuration.

Map Event Fields for Filters
- Use the Search option to locate event fields.
- Map relevant event fields to the selected filters.
- Review the pre-added static fields that are automatically available for event filtering.
4. Configure Displayed Event Fields
- Open the Displayed Event Fields configuration.
- Search and select event fields that should appear in the calendar.
- Map the selected event fields accordingly.
- Review the pre-added static fields that are always included for event display.
5. Select Theme and Widget Version
- From the Theme dropdown, select a predefined theme for the calendar.

Choose a supported Widget Version from the dropdown.
- This determines compatibility and rendering behavior for embedded calendars.
6. Access Calendar URLs and IDs

Within the integration details, you can view:
- Calendar URL – Used to embed or reference the calendar
- Public Calendar URL – Shareable link for public access
- Calendar ID – Unique identifier for the integration
- Example Script – Sample embed script for adding the calendar to an external website
7. Manage Teams for the Calendar

Access Teams Listing
- Open the Teams Listing tab within the calendar integration.

Add Teams
- Select one or more teams from the list.
- Add the teams to make their events visible in the calendar.

Remove Teams
- Remove teams from the listing to exclude their events from the calendar view.
8. Remove the Calendar Integration
- Locate the Remove Calendar–Azavista Integration option.

Confirm the removal action.
- This permanently deletes the integration and disables all associated URLs and widgets.
Result
Once configured, the Azavista Calendar Integration provides a customizable, filterable, and shareable calendar experience that can be embedded or accessed publicly, while giving administrators full control over event visibility, teams, and display behaviour.
