Configuring Messaging - Messagebird Integration
Overview
The Messaging – MessageBird integration allows administrators to connect Azavista with MessageBird to enable messaging capabilities through supported channels. This integration allows admins to configure messaging type, authenticate using MessageBird credentials, control activation status, manage team access, and monitor messaging activity through logs.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Create a New Messaging – MessageBird Integration
- On the General Dashboard, go to Integrations.
- Click + Integration.
- Select Messaging as the integration type.
- Select MessageBird as the messaging provider.
- Enter a meaningful Integration Name to identify the integration.
- Click Save.
2. Select Messaging Type
- From the Messaging Type select field on the integration form, choose the required messaging type.
- This determines how messages are sent through MessageBird.
3. Enter or Edit Access Key
- Enter or update the Access Key provided by MessageBird.
- This key is used to authenticate requests sent from Azavista.
4. Enter or Edit Workspace ID
- Enter or update the Workspace ID associated with your MessageBird account.
- This identifies the MessageBird workspace used for messaging.
5. Enter or Edit Channel ID
- Enter or update the Channel ID provided by MessageBird.
- This defines the messaging channel through which messages will be delivered.
6. Save and Activate / Deactivate the Integration
- Click Save to store the integration configuration.
- Use the Activate / Deactivate toggle to control the integration state.
- Active: Messaging via MessageBird is enabled.
- Inactive: Messaging is paused.
7. Remove the Messaging – MessageBird Integration
- From the integrations listing, locate the MessageBird integration.
- Click Remove.
- Confirm the action to permanently delete the integration.
8. Access the Logs Listing
- Open the MessageBird integration.
- Navigate to the Logs tab.
- Review messaging activity, delivery status, and error details.
Clear the Logs
- Click Clear Logs to remove existing log entries from the view.
9. Access the Teams Listing
- Navigate to the Teams tab within the integration.
- This section controls which teams can access or manage the MessageBird integration.
Select Teams
- Click Select Teams.
- Choose one or more teams from the Select Teams pop-up.
- Confirm your selection.
Remove Teams from Listing
- Click Remove next to a team to revoke its access.
Once configured, the Messaging – MessageBird integration enables secure and controlled messaging through MessageBird directly from Azavista.
