Configuring Messaging - Event App Push messages Integration

Overview

The Messaging – Event App Push Messages integration allows administrators to enable and manage push notifications sent directly to the Event App. This integration lets admins control activation status, manage team access, and monitor push message activity through logs to ensure reliable communication with event participants.

Step-by-Step Approach

1. Create a New Messaging – Event App Push Messages Integration

On the General Dashboard, go to Integrations.
Click + Integration.
Select Messaging as the integration type.
Select Event App Push Messages as the messaging provider.
Enter a meaningful Integration Name to identify the integration.
Click Save.

2. Save and Activate / Deactivate the Integration

Click Save to store the integration configuration.
Use the Activate / Deactivate toggle to control the integration state.
Active: Push messages are enabled and delivered to the Event App.
Inactive: Push message delivery is paused.

3. Remove the Messaging – Event App Push Messages Integration

From the integrations listing, locate the Event App Push Messages integration.
Click Remove.
Confirm the action to permanently delete the integration.

4. Access the Logs Listing

Open the Event App Push Messages integration.
Navigate to the Logs tab.
Review push message activity, delivery status, and error details.

Clear the Logs

Click Clear Logs to remove existing log entries from the view.

5. Access the Teams Listing

Navigate to the Teams tab within the integration.
This section controls which teams can access or manage the push messaging integration.

Select Teams

Click Select Teams.
Choose one or more teams from the Select Teams pop-up.
Confirm your selection.

Remove Teams from Listing

Click Remove next to a team to revoke its access.

Once configured, the Messaging – Event App Push Messages integration enables controlled and reliable delivery of push notifications to the Event App, ensuring timely communication with event participants.
