Configuring Whitelabel URL – Marketing Integration
Overview
The Whitelabel URL – Marketing integration allows administrators to configure custom domain URLs (CNAMEs) for marketing purposes. This integration helps maintain brand consistency by using a branded URL, supports UTM attribution for marketing tracking, and provides controlled activation based on DNS verification. Admins can manage multiple whitelabel URLs, verify DNS readiness, and control team-based access to ensure secure and accurate configuration.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Configure a Whitelabel URL / CNAME Integration
- On to the General Dashboard,go to Integrations.
- Click + Integration.
- Select Whitelabel URL – Marketing from the available integration types.
- Enter the required Whitelabel URL / CNAME details.
- Save the integration.
2. Create Multiple Whitelabel URL / CNAME Integrations
- Repeat the integration creation process.
- Configure each integration with a unique Whitelabel URL or CNAME.
- Save each integration separately.
3. Preview Whitelabel URL / CNAME DNS Instructions
- Open the Whitelabel URL – Marketing integration.
- View the DNS Instructions or Preview section.
- Review the CNAME values that must be added to your DNS provider.
4. Run a Check to Acknowledge DNS Update
- Open the Whitelabel URL – Marketing integration.
- Click Run Check or Verify DNS.
- The system checks whether the Whitelabel URL / CNAME has been correctly updated in the DNS.
5. View DNS Check Approval Status
- Open the Whitelabel URL – Marketing integration.
- Review the Check Status or Approval Status indicator.
- Confirm when the check is marked as Approved.
6. Activate the Whitelabel URL / CNAME Integration
- Open the Whitelabel URL – Marketing integration.
- Ensure the DNS check status shows Approved.
- Use the Activate toggle to enable the integration.
7. Select UTM Source, UTM Campaign, and UTM Medium
- Open the Whitelabel URL – Marketing integration.
- Locate the UTM Source, UTM Campaign, and UTM Medium fields.
- Select the appropriate values from the available options.
- Save your changes.
8. Access the Teams Listing
- Open the Whitelabel URL – Marketing integration.
- Navigate to the Teams tab.
9. Select Teams from the Select Teams Pop-Up
- Click Select Teams.
- In the Select Teams pop-up, browse or search for teams.
- Select one or more teams.
- Click Select to confirm.
- The selected teams appear in the Teams listing.
10. Remove Teams from the Listing
- In the Teams listing, locate the team you want to remove.
- Click the More Options (⋮) icon next to the team name.
- Select Remove teams.
11. Remove the Whitelabel URL / CNAME Integration
- Open the Whitelabel URL – Marketing integration.
- Click Delete or Remove Integration.
- Confirm the deletion.
Note: Removing the integration disables the whitelabel URL and stops traffic from being served through the custom domain.
Once configured, the Whitelabel URL – Marketing integration helps ensure branded URLs, accurate marketing attribution, and controlled access across your teams.
