Using Badge Cropper
Overview
A Badge Cropper is a tool within a badge design/editor interface that allows you to adjust how a background image or design fits on a badge. It helps you fine-tune the placement and size of the image so it appears correctly when printed or displayed.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Upload a Badge Background Design
- Navigate to Event → Onsite Check-In → Badges.
- Open the Badge Editor and select the desired badge template.
- In the Background Settings section, click on Badge Cropper Button.
- Click Browse Storage and select your design file (supported formats: JPG, and PNG,).
- Once uploaded, the design appears on the selected side of the badge preview.
- Upload a full image for Badge Background.
Tip: Use high-resolution artwork (minimum 300 DPI) to ensure a clear and professional print finish.
2. Use the Badge Cropper Tool
- When you have multi-page or two-sided PDF design
- Click on Badge Cropper button as mentioned above it will navigate you the Badge Cropper tool.
- Clik on Drop PDF file here or click to browse area or drag and drop the file from you system.
- This feature allows you to visually crop two separate images (front and back) from a single PDF design file.
- After Uploading the PDF, the tool will automatically cropes and generates two background images ready to be applied to the respective sides of the badge.
- However, you can also position the image in the Badge Cropper by adjusting its X and Y coordinates, along with the height and width for both sides and you can preview the changes in the preview section of Badge Cropper.
Example: Upload a single two-page design file one page for the front and one for the back—and extract both images for background use.
