Accessing the Check-In App
Overview
The Check-In App provides multiple secure login methods so users can access their account and manage onsite check-in operations. Authentication options include QR code, manual login, password, PIN, or company single-sign-on. Users can also reset passwords, and note that new credentials may be required if the event has ended.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Scan a QR Code to Access the User Account
- Open the Check-In App on your device.
- Select the option to Scan QR Code.
- Use the device camera to scan the QR code provided by the event organizer.
- After scanning, the QR code is successfully validated and the user is logged in.
Important:
- QR codes for Kiosk and Resolution Desk login are typically provided by the event organizer 1–2 weeks before the event date.
- QR codes can only be generated for events occurring between the current date and up to 15 days in the future.
- A QR code remains valid for a maximum of 15 days. After this period, the code expires and can no longer be used for login.
3. Select the Applicable Cluster
- In Manual Mode, open the Cluster dropdown.
- Select the cluster associated with your event environment.
4. Enter Username
- Enter your Username into the username field to proceed with login.
5. Login Using Password
- Select Password Login as your access method.
- A password input field appears with a Preview (eye) icon—tap the icon to reveal or hide the typed password.
- Enter your password and submit to log in.
6. Login Using PIN
- Select PIN Login as your authentication option.
- A pop-up will inform you that a PIN code has been sent to your registered email address.
- Retrieve the PIN from your email and enter it in the app to access your account.
7. Login Using Company Login
- Select Company Login to authenticate via your organization’s sign-in page.
- The app redirects you to your company’s login portal complete the company authentication flow to return to the Check-In App.
8. Reset Login Password
- On the login screen, click Forgot Password.
- Enter your registered email address and follow the instructions sent to your inbox to reset your password.
- Use the new password to sign in.
9. Log In with New Credentials After the Event Has Ended
- If the event period has passed, previous credentials might no longer be valid.
- Contact your event administrator to request new access credentials if you need continued access after the event end date.
- You must be logged in to view events and all associated event components.
