It ensures a seamless badge-printing experience during onsite operations by enabling users to verify printer readiness, adjust configuration settings, manage participants, and print badges efficiently.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Validate Printer Power Status
- See whether the printer is powered on.
- Turn on the printer if it is powered off.
- If the printer does not power on, the system displays that the printer is unreachable or offline.
2. Check Feed Status and Run Calibration
- View the current feed status of the printer.
- Press the Calibrate button to initiate media calibration.
- A green indicator confirms successful calibration.
3. Review and Update Printer Status (Paused / Unpaused)
- See whether the printer is currently paused or unpaused.
- Toggle the status to pause or resume the printer.
4. Validate Media Errors
- Identify media-related errors such as missing media, incorrect alignment, or blackmark detection issues.
- Errors are displayed directly in the printer pop-up for easy troubleshooting.
5. Set the Tear-Off Range
- Adjust the tear-off setting for the printer.
- A fixed preset range ensures correct badge positioning.
6. Select Printer DPI
