Allowing Registrations for Overlapping Activities

Overview

This feature allows participants to register for multiple activities even when their scheduled times overlap. It is especially useful for events that require agenda flexibility, enabling participants to select activities that may partially coincide in time while still aligning with their interests or objectives.

Step-by-Step Configuration

• Create multiple activities with the same start and end date.
• Open the detailed view of an activity.
• Navigate to the Activity Settings tab.
• Ensure the Registrations required setting is enabled for all relevant activities.
• Enable the Allow registration with overlapping activities setting.
• Click Save.
• Participants can now register for activities with overlapping schedules.

At a multi-track conference, a participant may want to attend the beginning of a workshop while also joining a keynote session scheduled at the same time. By enabling overlapping activity registrations, event organizers can support these preferences and provide a more flexible, personalized participant experience.
