Managing Moderators and Speakers for an Activity
Overview
Managing moderators and speakers allows organizers to assign roles, communicate with presenters, and review role-specific details for an activity. From the Speakers and Moderators listing, you can filter by role and perform both single-row and multi-row actions to manage assignments effectively.
This article explains how to access the Speakers and Moderators list and manage speaker and moderator assignments for an activity.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Speakers and Moderators Listing
- On the Event dashboard, go to the Activity Management module.
- Click the Activities submenu.
- Select any activity.
- Click Speakers and Moderators.
2. Filter the List View by Role (Speaker or Moderator)
- Use the role filter to display only Speakers or only Moderators in the list view.
3. Execute Single-Row Action: View Moderator
- Click a moderator record to open the moderator detail view.
4. Execute Multi-Row Action: Email Moderator
- Select one or more moderators, open the More Options (⋮) menu, and select Email Moderator to send an email to the selected moderators.
5. Execute Multi-Row Action: Unassign Moderator
- Select one or more moderators, open the More Options (⋮) menu, and select Unassign Moderator to remove the moderator role from the activity.
6. Execute Single-Row Action: View Speaker
- Click a speaker record to open the speaker detail view.
7. Execute Multi-Row Action: Email Speaker
- Select one or more speakers, open the More Options (⋮) menu, and select Email Speaker to send an email to the selected speakers.
8. Execute Multi-Row Action: Unassign Speaker
- Select one or more speakers, open the More Options (⋮) menu, and select Unassign Speaker to remove the speaker role from the activity.
