Configuring Dependencies for an Activity
Overview
This feature allows organizers to control activity visibility and participant experiences based on conditions linked to participant profiles or activity selections. By using dependencies, organizers can ensure that participants see only activities relevant to them and can dynamically adjust other event elements based on activity registrations.
Step-by-Step Configuration
- Open the detailed view of the activity.
- Navigate to the Activity Settings tab.
- In the Dependency field, select an existing dependency or create a new one.
- The activity is displayed only when the participant and event details meet the defined dependency conditions.
Sample Scenario
An event includes exclusive VIP sessions. Using dependencies, these sessions are visible only to participants with a VIP status in their profile, ensuring that general attendees do not see activities they are not eligible to join.
