Configuring Localisation Settings for the Event
Overview
Localisation Settings helps organisers to control how date, time, and timezone information is displayed across the event website and participant-facing interfaces. By configuring these settings, event organizers ensure event information is presented accurately and consistently for participants in different regions.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Expand the Localisation section
- Open the Event Dashboard and navigate to Event Settings → Localisation.
- Click the Localisation section header to expand and reveal the configuration options.
2. Search for a specific timezone
- Open the Timezone select field.
- Use the search box or scroll the list to find the desired timezone (for example: Europe/Amsterdam or America/New_York).
- Select the appropriate timezone for the event.
3. Select a specific datetime format
- Open the Datetime format dropdown.

Select the preferred datetime format (for example:
DD/MM/YYYY HH:mmorMM/DD/YYYY hh:mm A).
4. Select a specific date format
- Open the Date format select field.

Choose the desired date format (for example:
DD/MM/YYYYorMMMM D, YYYY).
5. Select a specific time format
- Open the Time format select field.
- Choose the time format you want to use (for example: 24-hour or 12-hour (AM/PM)).
6. Save your changes
- After selecting timezone and formats, click Save or Apply to persist the settings.
- Review key event pages (event website, registration, agenda) to confirm dates and times render as expected.
Tip: Double-check the configured timezone and format with stakeholders — incorrect timezone settings can cause confusion for participants in different regions.
