Configuring Pre-Arrival Event Workflow Automation
Overview
A Pre-arrival Automation Event Workflow allows you to automate the actions
and communication that take place before a participant arrives for an event.
You can define which forms are used, which pages are shown, and what happens
if a participant cancels or progresses further in the workflow.
This article explains how to add and configure a Pre-arrival Automation Event
Workflow.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Add an Automation Event Workflow for a Pre-arrival Template
- Add a new Automation Event Workflow and assign it to a Pre-arrival Template.
- Enter or edit the Name of the workflow.
- Click on the Save button.
2. Select Forms from the Forms Select Field
- Select the Form to be used during the pre-arrival process from the Forms dropdown list.
This determines what information is collected from participants before arrival.
3. Select Additional Pages Visible in the Workflow
- Select additional pages that should be visible during the workflow from the Pages visible in the workflow field.
These may include instructional, informational, or confirmation pages.
4. Select Thank You Page from the Thank You Page Select Field
- Select the Thank You Page that participants see once their pre-arrival form or action is successfully completed.
5. Select Thank You Email from the Thank You Email Select Field
- Select the Thank You Email template that is automatically sent when a participant completes the pre-arrival workflow step.
6. Select Cancellation Workflow from the Cancellation Workflow Select Field
- Select a Cancellation Workflow to define what happens if a participant cancels before arrival.
7. Select Next Workflow from the Next Workflow Select Field
- Assign a Next Workflow that determines what happens after the pre-arrival workflow is finished.
8. Enter or Edit Stage Name
- Enter or update the Stage Name to reflect the current pre-arrival workflow stage.
9. Save the Selected Details
- Review the configured details before saving to ensure the workflow is set up correctly.
10. Click on Save Button
- Click the Save button to apply and activate the configured Pre-arrival Automation Event Workflow.
