Validating Multi-Registration Form for Group Type on the Event Website
Overview
The Multi-Registration form on the Event Website allows participants to register multiple attendees under a single registration, especially for group-type registrations.
As a participant, you can add, edit, validate, and manage sub-participants directly within the Multi-Registration widget. Validation rules ensure that all required participant details are correctly entered before submission.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Access the Event Website
- Open the event website using the provided event link.
- Navigate to the page where the Multi-Registration Form is displayed.
The widget will display options to manage multiple participants if the registration type is set to Group.
2. Add Sub-Participants
- Click on Invite Others.
- A new sub-participant pop-up will appear.

Enter the required details:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Click ADD INVITEE button
Validation rules may require all mandatory fields to be completed before proceeding.
3. Validate Participant Details
- Ensure all required fields are filled in.
- Verify input formats (e.g., valid email structure).
- Correct any validation errors displayed on the form.
The system will prevent submission until all validations are met.
4. Submit the Form
- Click on the Submit button.
- The system validates all participant and sub-participant entries.
Upon successful submission, sub-participants are added to the participant listing.
5. View Sub-Participants
- After adding the sub-participant, you can view them within the Multi-Registration listing with predefined columns.
6. Update Sub-Participants
- In the Multi-Registration listing, click on Edit for any sub-participant.

Edit details such as:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Save the changes.
Updated details will reflect in the participant listing.
7. Cancel Sub-Participants
- Select the sub-participant you want to cancel.
- Click on the Cancel option (if available).
The sub-participant status will be updated accordingly without fully deleting the record.
Result
- Participants can successfully add and manage multiple sub-participants in a group registration.
- Validation ensures all required fields are correctly filled before submission.
- Sub-participants can be updated, removed, or canceled directly from the Multi-Registration form.
Notes
- Validation rules are configured by the event planner in the backend.
- Mandatory fields must be completed before submission is allowed.
- Removing a sub-participant deletes the entry, while canceling may retain the record with a status change.
