Understanding the Multiregistration Search Feature for Company Managers
Overview
Along with manual addition of the sub participant,the Multiregistration Search feature allows Company Managers to quickly add sub-participants from an existing list of organization contacts during the registration process. This functionality improves efficiency by reducing manual data entry and ensuring accurate participant information.
This guide explains how to validate the visibility, functionality, and restrictions of the Search feature on the Event Website.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Search Button Visibility for Company Managers
- Open the event website using the link provided by the event organizer as a Company Manager.
- Navigate to the Multiregistration form.
- Locate the Search button.
Note:
- Confirm that the Search button is visible for Company Managers.
- Log in as a non-Company Manager user.
- Verify that the Search button is not visible for unauthorized roles.
2. Search Functionality and Contact List Display
- Click on the Search button.
Note:
- Confirm that a list of organization contacts appears.
- Ensure that the displayed contacts belong to the same organization as the main participant.
3. Organization Contact Listing
- Review the displayed contact list.
Note:
- Confirm that the list includes all contacts associated with the main participant’s organization.
- Ensure contact details (e.g., name, email) are displayed correctly.
4. Add Contact as Sub-Participant
- Click Add for any contact from the list.
Note:
- Confirm that the selected contact is added as a sub-participant.
- Verify that the participant fields are automatically pre-filled with the contact’s information.
5. Remove Contact from Sub-Participants
- Locate the added sub-participant in the list.
- Click Remove/Delete.
Note:
- Confirm that the contact is successfully removed from the sub-participant list.
- Ensure the contact becomes available again in the Search list (if applicable).
6. Validate Pre-Filled Data Accuracy
- Add a contact as a sub-participant.

- Confirm that all relevant fields (e.g., First Name, Last Name, Email) are pre-filled correctly.
- Ensure no incorrect or missing data is populated.
7. Prevent Duplicate Sub-Participant Selection
- Attempt to select a contact whose email already exists as a sub-participant.

- Confirm that the system prevents selection of the duplicate contact.
- Verify that an appropriate validation message or restriction is displayed.

- The Search button is visible only to Company Managers.
- Organization contacts are displayed accurately upon search.
