Adding and Configuring Two Column Text for an Email Template

The Email Builder allows users to add and configure a Two Column Text component within an email campaign. This component enables users to insert and format text content using various styling options and personalize content using merge tags. This article explains how to add, edit, and manage the Two Column Text component effectively.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Add Two Column Text
- On the Event Dashboard, go to the Content module.
- Click on Email Campaigns.
- Select an existing campaign or create a new one.
- Go to Design tab, click Edit Template button
- Locate the Two Column Text component from the available elements.
- Drag and drop the Two Column Text component into the desired section of the email layout.
2. Configure Text Properties

a. Enter or Edit ID
- Locate the Id field.
- Enter or update a unique identifier for the text component.

b. Enter or Edit Title
- Find the Title field.
- Enter or modify the title as needed.
3. Select Section Version Type
- Locate the Section Version Type dropdown field.
- Select the appropriate version type from the list.
This defines the layout or structure variation of the text section.
4. Edit Two Column Text Content
- Click inside the text editor within the component.
- Add or modify the text content.

Use available styling and formatting options such as:
- Font style and size
- Bold, italic, underline
- Text alignment
- Lists and spacing
5. Use Merge Tags
- Locate the Merge Tags dropdown field.
- Select the required merge tag.
- Insert it into the text content.
Merge tags allow dynamic personalization of email content.
6. Remove Two Column Text
- Select the Two Column Text component.
- Click on the Remove/Delete option.
7. Validate as a Participant
- Preview or send a test email.
