Adding and Configuring One Image Gallery for an Email Template
Overview
The Profile component in the Email Builder allows users to display structured content such as text and images in a visually organized format within an email campaign. It is highly customizable, enabling users to define unique identifiers, titles, images, and styling for each element. This article explains how to add, configure, and manage a Profile, along with how participants can validate the final email content.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Add the Profile Component
- On the Event Dashboard, go to the Content module.
- Click on Email Campaigns.
- Select an existing campaign or create a new one.
- Go to the Design tab and click the Edit Template button.
- Locate the Profile component from the available elements.
- Drag and drop the Profile into the desired section of the email layout.
2. Configure Profile Settings
- Click on the Profile component to open its settings panel.
- Enter or edit the following:
- ID: Assign a unique identifier.
- Title: Provide a meaningful title.
- Section Version Type: Select the appropriate version type from the dropdown.
Configure Text Fields within Profile
- For each text field in the Profile:
- Enter or edit the ID individually.
- Enter or edit the Title individually.
- Update the content directly in the Email Builder.
- Apply styling and formatting options such as font size, color, alignment, and emphasis (bold/italic/underline).
Configure Images within Profile
- For each image in the Profile:
- Enter or edit the Alt text for accessibility.
- Enter or edit the URL (with or without hyperlink).
- Select the Target (e.g., same tab or new tab) from the dropdown.

Upload an image by:
- Dragging and dropping from your local system, or
- Using the Select Image pop-up to choose an existing image.
- Apply formatting options such as resizing, alignment, or spacing.
3. Manage Profile Layout
- Reposition the Profile by dragging it to the desired location within the email layout.
- Remove the Profile if it is no longer needed by using the delete option.
4. Participant Validation
- Participants can review the email content where the Profile is included.
- Verify that:
- All text fields display correct titles and content.
- Images are properly rendered with correct alt text and links.
- Formatting and layout appear as intended.
This process ensures that Profiles are effectively configured and displayed, resulting in well-structured and visually engaging email campaigns.
