Overview

The Four Image Gallery component in the Email Builder allows users to display two images side-by-side within an email campaign. This helps create visually engaging layouts and highlight multiple pieces of content simultaneously.

Users can configure properties such as ID, Title, Section Version Type, and customize each image individually with alt text, URLs, target behavior, and formatting options. The component also supports image uploads and selection from the media library.

Step-by-Step Approach

1. Add the Four Image Gallery Component

  • On the Event Dashboard, go to the Content module.
  • Click on Email Campaigns.
  • Select an existing campaign or create a new one.
  • Go to the Design tab and click the Edit Template button.
  • Locate the Four Image Gallery component from the available elements.
  • Drag and drop the component into the desired section of the email layout.

2. Configure Four Image Gallery Properties

  • Click on the Four Image Gallery component to open its settings panel.
  • Enter or edit the following:
    • ID: Assign a unique identifier.
    • Title: Provide a meaningful title.
    • Section Version Type: Select the appropriate version type from the dropdown.

3. Configure Image Settings (For Each Image)

  • For both images individually:
    • Enter or edit the Alt Text.
    • Enter or edit the URL (with or without HTTPS).
    • Select the Target (e.g., same tab or new tab) from the dropdown.
    • Upload or drag and drop an image from your local system.
    • Alternatively, use Select Image to choose from the media library popup.

4. Apply Image Formatting

  • Select each image within the component.
  • Apply formatting options such as:
    • Alignment
    • Size adjustments
    • Spacing or padding
  • Ensure both images are displayed correctly and consistently.

5. Reposition the Four Image Gallery Component

  • Click and drag the Four Image Gallery component.
  • Move it to the desired location within the email layout.

6. Remove the Four Image Gallery Component

  • Select the Four Image Gallery component.
  • Click on Delete/Remove.
  • Confirm the action to remove it from the email template.

7. Validate Four Image Gallery (Participant View)

  • Open or preview the email as a participant.
  • Verify that both images are visible.
  • Ensure:
    • Images are displayed correctly side-by-side.
    • Alt text is properly applied (where applicable).
    • Clicking each image redirects to the correct URL.
    • Target behavior (same tab/new tab) works as expected.
    • Image formatting (alignment, size, spacing) is consistent across devices.
