Adding and Configuring a Header with Subtext for an Email Template
Overview
The Header with SubText component in the Email Builder allows users to create structured and visually appealing email content by adding headings along with supporting text. This helps highlight important information and improves readability within email campaigns.
Users can configure IDs, titles, styling, merge tags, and language settings to customize the component. Participants can also validate how the header and subtext appear in the final email content.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Add Header with SubText Component
- On the Event Dashboard, go to the Content module.
- Click on Email Campaigns.
- Select an existing campaign or create a new one.
- Go to the Design tab and click the Edit Template button.
- Locate the Header With SubText component from the available elements.
- Drag and drop the Header with SubText component onto the email canvas.
2. Manage Section Properties
- Enter or edit the ID for the section.
- Enter or edit the Title for the section.
- Select the Section Version Type from the dropdown field.
3. Configure Header / Headline / Text
- Enter or edit the ID for the header, headline, or text.
- Enter or edit the Title for the header, headline, or text.
4. Edit Header Styling and Formatting
- Update the heading directly in the Email Builder.

- Font size and style
- Text alignment
- Color, bold, italic, or underline
5. Add Merge Tags
- Select Merge Tags from the dropdown field.
- Use merge tags to personalize the header or subtext dynamically.
6. Manage Languages

- Reposition languages to control display order and priority.
7. Save Configuration
- Click Save to apply all changes.
8. Validate Header with SubText in Email Content
- Open the email or preview the campaign.
- Verify that the Header and SubText are displayed correctly.
