Adding and Configuring Single Column View Fields Section with Text for an Email Template
Overview
The Single Column View Fields Section in the Email Builder allows users to display structured field-based information in a single-column layout within an email campaign. This component is useful for presenting participant details, event information, or custom data fields in a clean and organized format.
Users can configure IDs, Titles, Section Version Type, and add various field types such as Text, Date, DateTime, URL, Document, and Image. Participants can validate how these fields are displayed in the final email content.
Step-by-Step Approach
1. Add the Single Column View Fields Section
- On the Event Dashboard, go to the Content module.
- Click on Email Campaigns.
- Select an existing campaign or create a new one.
- Go to the Design tab and click the Edit Template button.
- Locate the Single Column View Fields Section component from the available elements..
- Drag and drop the component into the desired section of the email layout.
2. Configure Section Properties
- Click on the Single Column View Fields Section to open its settings panel.

Enter or edit the following:
- ID: Assign a unique identifier.
- Title: Provide a meaningful title.
- Section Version Type: Select the appropriate version type from the dropdown.
3. Add and Configure Fields

Drag and drop required field types into the section, such as:
- Text
- Date
- DateTime
- URL
- Document
- Image

For each selected field:
- Enter or edit the ID.
- Enter or edit the Title.
- Enter or edit the For field (to map or define the data source).
4. Reposition the Section
- Click and drag the Single Column View Fields Section.
- Move it to the desired location within the email layout.
5. Remove the Section
- Select the Single Column View Fields Section.
- Click on Delete/Remove.
- Confirm the action to remove it from the email template.
6. Validate Single Column View Fields Section (Participant View)
- Open or preview the email as a participant.
- Verify that the section and all fields are visible.

- All configured fields (Text, Date, DateTime, URL, etc.) display correctly.
- Field titles and values are accurate.
- URLs and documents are clickable and functional.
- Images are displayed properly.
- The layout is clean and aligned in a single-column format.
